Austin-based Hal Katz, a partner within Husch Blackwell’s Healthcare, Life Sciences and Education strategic business unit has been appointed to the Council of the ABA Health Law Section, and elected Treasurer of the Texas Bar Health Law Section.
Katz is board certified in health law, with a concentration in general corporate and transactional areas, such as the purchase and sale of businesses, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, management arrangements, managed care and healthcare matters. He is regularly asked by industry leaders to lecture on corporate, transactional and regulatory issues.
