Austin-based Weisbart Springer Hayes LLP has added Danielle Taylor, a recent honors graduate of Baylor University School of Law, to the nine-attorney firm.

Taylor earned numerous honors during law school, including Best Oral Advocate in the American College of Trial Lawyers Moot Court Regional Competition and Best Oral Advocate in the Strasburger & Price Moot Court Competition. She served as Senior Executive Editor of the Baylor Law Review, and her article on litigating workplace injuries recently was recognized by the Texas Trial Lawyers Association as the best article focused on torts and workers’ compensation.Danielle Taylor105IMG_8240

Before attending law school, Taylor worked in varying capacities with the Texas Legislature, primarily in the areas of energy, dentistry, public health and insurance. She has served as a regular speaker at health care conferences and presented on a number of special interest topics, including grassroots advocacy, health care legislation, insurance contracts and regulations, business formation and adversarial concerns.

Taylor holds a master’s degree in psychology from Capella University, and she earned her undergraduate degree in government and psychology from The University of Texas in 2006.

“Danielle has all the skills to be a truly outstanding lawyer, and her legislative and public policy experience offers valuable insights on statutory and regulatory issues for our firm and our clients,” says Julie Springer, a founding partner of Weisbart Springer Hayes.
